Supporting Education Responsibly, through Visionary Innovative Cooperative Efforts

Dear Friends:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the superintendent of the Newaygo County Regional Educational Service Agency. As a lifetime resident of Newaygo County, I have been privileged to serve in our educational community for over 20 years.

I have a deep commitment to all of the residents of Newaygo County particularly to our children. I strive to influence positive, meaningful change in education and am inspired by the challenges and opportunities ahead as the NC RESA superintendent.

Together, the NC RESA and its constituent local school districts serve over 10,000 students ages 0-26 throughout Newaygo County. Our NC RESA staff are committed to provide the highest quality services to Newaygo County students, local school districts and community partners.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lori Tubbergen Clark, Superintendent

A vital component of Michigan’s public education system, Newaygo County RESA is one of fifty-seven intermediate school districts in Michigan - established by legislative action in 1962 to assist local community school districts in the delivery of education to their communities based on local school district needs. The intent of that action was to establish regional districts which would share information between the Michigan Department of Education and local districts.
