SALE OF OBSOLETE PROPERTY

Obsolete property items are posted on the first business day of each month and are posted for the full month. NC RESA reserves the right to post a minimum bid for items that have a value for scrap such as shop equipment or vehicles. Items with no scrap value are posted at $1 minimum. Prospective purchasers can view all district listings from the district website.  Anyone interested in making an offer for a posted item must print the posting, complete the information requested and delivered/mailed to the NC RESA Maintenance Department, Sale of Obsolete Property.

All offers must be received before 3:00 p.m. on the last scheduled work day of the posting month in order to be considered. Offers are not disclosed to other prospective purchasers, so best offers are encouraged. At the close of the month, the person with the highest qualified offer will be notified that their offer has been accepted. Removal of equipment is the responsibility of the purchaser, and must be removed within 10 calendar days from notification of the accepted bid.
