Students will work as a team to complete a construction project from plan to completion, while learning cutting-edge techniques used in both residential and commercial construction. Emphasis is placed on energy efficiency, sustainability, environmentally friendly practices and the opportunity to complete the OSHA 10-Hour certification to ensure jobsite safety. With successful completion of the program students may also qualify for the State of Michigan 60-hour pre-licensure allowing them to take the State of Michigan Residential Builders License exam.
