*Articulated Credit - NC RESA has Articulation Agreements with several colleges for articulation of credit from NCCTC programs to the institutional programs. A student successfully completing a competency exam for each course is awarded credit if the student enrolls in courses at that college as either a full or part-time student within a given period of time after graduation (usually one year). These credits are not transferable to other post-secondary institutions.
*Transcripted, Direct, or Concurrent Credit - Transcripted, Direct, or Concurrent Credit courses are available to NCCTC students that meet the post-secondary admission qualifications for an institution as well as achieving at least an 80% in their NCCTC program. Students must also receive an acceptable score on a final college competency exam for each course that they are seeking credit. Students receive a letter grade on their transcript which allows the course to be transferable to other institutions. These courses are taught by NCCTC staff approved by the college.
