    Newaygo County RESA and local public school districts utilize the services of EDUStaff/Red Rover to employ and assign substitute teachers, and in some districts, substitute teacher aides/paraprofessionals.       Salary Range:

      Substitute Teachers $110/day

      Substitute Paraprofessionals $12.00/hour

      Substitute Aides $12.00/hour

         
      Reports To: Individual Building Administrators  
      Terms: On call substitute    
      Qualifications:

      Substitute Teachers: Candidates must have at least 60 semester hours of satisfactory credit (grade ‘C’ or better) combined from one or more regionally accredited two- or four-year colleges or universities.

      Substitute Paraprofessionals and Aides: Candidates must have a high school diploma. 

      Essential Functions:

      Substitute Teachers: Follow teacher lesson plans to educate students in the teacher's absence.

      Substitute Paraprofessionals/Aides: Assist teacher in daily activities.
