Reports To: Director of Technology Services & Security

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or relevant clerical experience equal to college level.
  • Work experience in one or more of the following areas: secretarial, bookkeeping, clerical, computers, word processing or supervision.
  • Proficient at learning and using a variety of software programs.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and public relations/communication skills.
  • Capable of handling detailed work assignments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and be self-motivated; ability to work cooperatively with other office personnel.
  • Shall attend workshops/seminars periodically to upgrade skills and enhance professional growth.
  • Able to operate a variety of business office machines deemed essential for effectiveness.
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-task with time-sensitive constraints.
  • Able to work as a member of a team and contribute to the agency vision and goals.
  • Positive leadership skills.
  • Must successfully complete skills assessment test.
  • Must complete and pass criminal history check.
Essential Functions:
  • Scheduling and project management assistance to the Director of Technology Services & Security.
  • Assist in budget development and grant research.
  • Update NCATS social media feeds and monitor as appropriate.
  • Analyze data for quality improvement purposes and how it is being received. Reorganize data, if necessary, so that when it is needed, it can easily be used.
  • Maintain relevant databases and/or Internet presence as required.
  • Act as a resource, if needed, to employees, students and the general public visiting the NC RESA.
  • Possess knowledge of NC RESA’s organization, mission and philosophy.
  • Perform other duties deemed appropriate by the Director of Technology Services & Security.
