🎃 Our Pathfinder SXI team recently created an exciting multisensory learning experience with an Exploding Pumpkin Experiment! Students engaged with all their senses—hearing the fizz, feeling the textures, smelling the pumpkin, and seeing the colorful reaction. We incorporated adaptive equipment to ensure everyone could participate fully, blending sensory stimulation and communication tools for a fun and educational activity. It's all about making learning accessible and engaging for every student! #InclusiveEducation #MultisensoryLearning #AdaptiveEquipment #SXIExperience #STEMFun

We had such a great time partnering with the Building Bridges preschools (Grant, White Cloud, Newaygo, Hesperia, Fremont) for their Family Literacy Nights over the past 2 weeks. Families participated in a story walk, craft activities, and made a delicious snack. All children received free books and parents heard a short message on the importance of talking, reading, and singing with their children every day.

We have partnered with the Great Start Family Coalition to help spread a new initiative, "Talking is Teaching". Our first Family Engagement Literacy Night took place at our Grant Primary Center with a portable story trail and some fun "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" activities. There was so much excitement and fun had by all. Looking forward to seeing the rest of our families throughout the county.

Today, on National Custodian Day, let's take a moment to appreciate the hard work and dedication of our custodians and student cleaners. Their efforts keep our environments clean, safe, and welcoming, often from behind the scenes and without much recognition. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and for making a difference every day!

🌟🚗💦 The Pathfinder SXI Team recently had a blast during a multisensory car wash experience! 💧 Our students enjoyed the sensory fun of water, bubbles, and vibrant colors, and they even got hands-on with assistive technology! With switches, they activated bubbles and fans for drying, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) gave them a voice to share their thoughts, making it an empowering experience for all.
