Last night, we celebrated the incredible accomplishments of students across Newaygo County at our 43rd Annual NC RESA Student Showcase. It was a wonderful evening of recognition, connection, and pride, bringing our community together to honor student success. We are proud to be part of a community that supports and uplifts its students!

On May 13, students in Ms. Heidi’s class had the wonderful opportunity to learn from Jazzlyn Vincent, owner of Infinity Shoppe. Jazzlyn shared her knowledge about soil health, the importance of composting, and how the worm farm in Fremont operates to create nutrient-rich soil for the community. Students also learned about the many benefits of healthy soil and the important work the soil crew does to support sustainable growing practices.

As part of this hands-on learning experience, Jazzlyn worked alongside students to assemble beautiful succulent plants that will be given as thank-you gifts to our valued job placement community partners.

We are so thankful for the time, knowledge, and kindness Jazzlyn shared with our students. Thank you for helping create such a meaningful and engaging experience while supporting our students in making thoughtful gifts to share with our community partners!

Accounting students have been hard a work creating their presentations for their Portrait of Graduate experiences that they will share out next week to advisory members. They enjoyed doing peer edits and receiving feedback and having conversations during their dining experience in Culinary. It's been exciting to see what pictures and experiences they have used to help create their story of their journey this year in Accounting.
